Tuxes and Tails Event was a Great Success

The inaugural Tuxes and Tails event was a great success!

Supporters braved a blustery night to stroll down the red carpet at Castlewood Country Club on February 9th and helped raise over $50,000 so that TVAR can continue to save homeless and abandoned animals.

Attendees enjoyed bidding on packages like “Caddy Shack” (golf), “Grapes of Wrath” (wineries), and “Date Night” (restaurants).

Guests also vied for some exciting live auction items, such as a tour of the nation’s Capitol with Congressman Eric Swalwell, a Ride in a San Francisco Fireboat, and Dinner for 8 at the Forbes Mill Steakhouse.

One lucky guest won a pair of tickets to see the Rolling Stones upon winning the “Name the Puppy” contest, while another won an Amazon Echo in the raffle.

Guests also participated in a fun “Dessert Dash” for delectable treats that drew bids in the thousands.

The Board of Tri-Valley Animal Rescue would like to thank all of the donors, attendees, and volunteers who helped make Tuxes & Tails successful. We applaud your dedication to our mission to give animals a Second Chance.
