The pet adoption campaign ‘Clear the Shelters’ will take place on Saturday August 18th.
Clear the Shelters is a community-driven nationwide adoption campaign that matches homeless pets with loving new homes.
The campaign is spearheaded by NBC and Telemundo owned stations who are teaming up with hundreds of shelters across the country to host Clear the Shelters, a nationwide pet adoption drive on Saturday, August 18 to help find loving homes for animals in need. More than 150,000 pets found their forever homes since 2015.
During this event animal shelters and rescues across the country offer low cost or waived pet adoption fees to help families find and adopt a new pet.
In the Bay Area alone, in the 2017 initiative, over there were over 5000 pet adoptions.
On August 18th, TVAR is waiving the pet adoption fees which makes it the perfect time to find a new pet and save a life.
So get you and your family to the East County Animal Shelter at 4595 Gleason Drive, Dublin, 94568 between 10:30 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday Aug 18th and come and see the TVAR animals who are looking for their forever home!
