Sue and Mike adopted Ozzie in 2010 from the East County Animal Shelter when he was 6 months old.
He is an incredible boy - super smart and the cuddliest dog you could find. His favorite thing to do is to sleep on either Mike Or Sue (all 65 lbs) with his head on one of their pillows.

My experience with TVAR was great from start to finish. They were very responsive through the whole process and did their best to make sure that our new dog and we were a good fit for each other. TVAR put a lot into preparing her, proving training before and after we adopted her. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend taking a look at Tri-Valley for your next pet!

We have adopted 3 cats from TVAR over the years. Each time we rescue a furry friend from TVAR we are treated so well. They are so happy when their animals go to a good home. The animals are fostered in loving and caring environments and the animals are healthy and well-tended. I love my new kitten and am grateful to TVAR for rescuing him and giving him a loving forever home.

This is a wonderful organization. The volunteers take very good care of their animals and work hard to find good homes for them. Tri-Valley Animal Rescue does not have its own shelter. All of the animals are in foster homes and they bring them to mobile events on the weekends. This is a group that I support. They save over 1,000 animals each year!
